- If you are so opposed to military life, why did you marry a man who was in the military? When I married Ashley, he was not in the military. In fact, I had no idea he even thought about the military. It wasn’t until we went to visit my parents in May 2000 that the idea surfaced. I decided then that I would support him in whatever decision he made. Now it seems I am all for him staying in and he wants out.
- Do you pluck your eyebrows? The mere thought of doing it makes me cringe. So that should answer that question.
- I heard you were adopted, does that ever bother you? Absolutely not. I have the best parents in the world. I was fortunate to know I was adopted at a young age and went with my parents to meet my biological family. It was an adventure and I even lived with my biological mother for a while. But at the end of the day, I have one mother and one father, and they raised me and made me into the beautiful mess that I am today!
- How can you stand being so organized? Being organized really makes my life 100 times easier. I tried to live in chaos, forgot my homework assignments, and so on. I was a miserable mess. Now, I can do what I want and have free time to do those little extra things I like to do.
- Do you even schedule in bathroom breaks? One of my favorite dumbass questions.
- What are you really going to do with all that Hello Kitty stuff you buy? I have always been a huge fan of Hello Kitty. I first started buying little things and then I started getting luggage and lunchboxes. I don’t know what I am going to do with it. Maybe one day I will have a little girl and she can enjoy it. If not, then I will just continue to enjoy collecting it for myself.
- Why don’t you have any kids? I think that is a question for God Almighty Himself.
- I have seen your hair combed, so why are you always wearing a hat? Pure laziness. I recently cut my hair and forgot that by doing so I was going to eliminate the ability to make a pony-tail. So, now I wear a hat whenever I do not feel like doing it. However, I have found that living in New Mexico, it is pointless for me to even attempt to comb it when some swift wind will turn it into some nappy mess.
- Do you really collect pens? Why? Pens are unique and it seems each one is different in the way they write or feel. I don’t collect Bic pens and things of that nature, but I do collect the fancier types.
- You are Black? AND you speak Spanish? How? Yet another one of those interesting questions that make me scratch my head. So much so, I don’t even know how to answer it to this day. What I can say though is, look around… you may notice that not every Hispanic person is light-skinned.
- Are you ever going to put some of your paintings on display/on the site? I really doubt it. Very few people get to see the messes I make on canvas and I would like to keep it that way.
- Is it true you play video games with boys? LOL! As though they are only meant for boys. Truth is, I do indulge in them. I currently play World of Warcraft and before that I played Asheron’s Call . It’s like a stress reliever for me. You should try it sometime.
- Why do you make so many faces? I have NO idea. It’s just who I am. I make faces all the time to the point where my teachers are starting to notice it. I don’t make them just because I am mad or annoyed. I just simply make them.
