For who-knows-what reason, Askimet decided to act like a spoiled brat and tag a ton of my comments. A lot of my regular readers had their comments marked as spam even though they have left them 101 times before.
I try to make a habit of checking the Askimet queue every 2 weeks but I got caught up in work and life and being annoyed constantly, so I wasn’t able to.
Anyway, a lot of good stuff got lost in the process… a lot of questions that I usually would respond to in my comments, but clearly never got a chance to. So guess what I am going to do now?
You got it, answer questions! I will answer all the ones I have gotten lately, including those from email and the comment form.
The first question comes from Fragile Heart, and she is the only one who I will mention by name because a lot of her comments were thrown out.1
- HOW many socks and panties do you buy and why do you buy them so often?
I will call it a compulsion. A very bad habit. A mental problem…. but I buy a lot. I probably own a pair of socks for every day of the year. That’s kind of embarrassing to type! And as far as panties, I could go about 3 months without repeating a pair.
I buy so many panties because they are pretty and frilly and sexy and fun. You can never have too many can you? And socks, well, my husband steals mine. And that annoys me so instead of having to dig around for a pair that belongs to me, I would just go buy new ones. I am happy to report I have not done this in weeks!
- What scares you?
Feet.
Feet are just disgusting and I would rather to not see them, let alone have them near me. Eww.
- What is a Chica and why do you call yourself one?
Chica is a female or girl in Spanish. Naturally since I am a girl and Spanish I call myself one.
- What are you?
I am a human. And just so you know, I reallllly hate being asked that.

No, not really. Just when people ask me stupid questions or do stupid things.
- Do you like anyone or anything? You always seem so angry.
I do not!! I am a really nice lady… I really am, unless you are not nice to me.
- What does Blogging MoRe mean?
It’s kind of a play on words. My intent when I started this blog was to make sure I invested more time than my previous one. Therefore, I would be “blogging more”. But at the same time, the blog would be about me, so I am blogging about MOnique REnae, which is “Blogging MoRe”.

I am in awe of your sockliness! I think I only have enough socks to last two months without needing to do laundry. Of course, my criteria may be more strict than yours… “knee socks” and “not boring.”

I seem to keep getting caught as spam for some reason, wonder what’s going on with that. It could have something to do with the fact that I’m in an apartment so my IP address isn’t the same as it usually is and then I also write some comments while at work so yet another IP address with the same email. Anyway, thanks for answering my question (and for the link love). I can’t believe you have so much!! Do you own as many clothes as this or is the compulsion restricted to under garments? LOL
So jealous! I’d love to have so many panties that I never run out of my favorites. Truthfully, I have a pretty full underwear drawer, but I don’t like most of the panties in there. It’s time to purge, but yet I hate throwing them away, too. Seems like such a waste.

@ Kelly - I honestly have no criteria although most are just white socks now. However, when I buy a pair of white socks, they must have pink lettering or stitching now so I can immediately identify it as mine.
@ Jacqueline - I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaate that question so much. Like people can’t just ask what nationality I am.. it’s always “what are you?” Very frustrating.
@ fragileheart - Maybe that’s what it is, a change of IP. I have no idea, but it was very annoying.
As much as I would love say it’s confined to my socks and panties, I do indeed have way too many clothes.
@ Haley - I also hate throwing them away… so what I do is move them to another location so that I don’t have to see them. And then once I realize how goofy that is, I throw them out. I really wonder where I became this neurotic.
I’m quite competitive, so I have to admit I was a bit surprised to see that Akismet does not deem me spam-worthy, like it does with fragileheart. I know, that’s messed up.
I’m just saying maybe I need to comment more. Maybe it’s Akismet’s way of saying, “You are the top commenter, fragileheart and you are the best. I admire you so much I will steal your comments as mine.”
I want Akismet to stalk *my* comments.

Oh my you really do have a lot of socks and panties. I can go a few weeks on the undies, but do I really need to wear them anyway. LOL. I love white socks and replace them often. I feel deprived as I have no where near that many socks OR panties…..now pretty dog collars (for the dogs) are another story entirely.
I give excess everything to the local thrift stores. (Just in case it’s not self evident, nothing stained, holey or with stretched out elastic). They are grateful to have them.

I have given on up on having nice drawers… because my kids fold the clothes and when they want to get out of it they hide the clean clothes… I have found my panties stuffed under the stairs and behind furniture!!!
I found out a couple months ago I was plus sized for the first time… go figure after five kids something has to give!

hahahahahahaha I love it. It is a weird question to ask some one… what is your nationality. It sounds so formal. I generally ask “what is your background” or something similar. But only if I am really curious. I usually could care less.

Oh…and I think I’ve gotten better with my panty buying obsession. Though some of mine are now so old that I’m having to throw them away and it is PAINFUL. Is that wrong? I don’t want to let anything go. lol
