Before I start, remember to keep those questions coming for the 100th post FAQ. I am loving the ones I am getting so far… lol. It’s hard to fight the temptation to answer a lot of them right now!
Anyway, we are finally in Lubbock, TX which is the first stop on our trip. It’s not even a place we are trying to “visit” but moreso a pit stop so we could sleep and refuel before going the rest of the distance. Today is when we head up into nature and of course I will be taking 101 pictures.
The “hotel” we are staying at is supposed to have WiFi but they say it’s “hit or miss”. How can internet access be hit or miss? Hopefully when I get there it will be a hit so I can finish dropping my Entrecards. That’s right, I am on vacation and dropping cards!!
I think I need an intervention.

See now I don’t feel so bad. Whenever we talk about heading into the high desert to visit the in-laws, I worry about having computer access to read blogs, answer comments and drop cards.
I mean I have sat down and worked out several contingency plans for being out of town and possible loss of connection.

Hm… that’s kind of a hit and miss with me. (Wanting to be on the internet). I used to be the type that couldn’t live without it. But with the lifestyle in Dublin, I know that I can easily go back to not being online all the time. Though this was before I discovered entrecard… so maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about.

My husband’s idea of roughing it would be to stay in a hotel that did not have room service or WiFi. My sister in law is a firefighter with the forest service outside of Sante Fe.
