For starters, thank you so much to everyone who has already sent in their 125×125’s. This is turning out to be a lot of fun for me and some of the “essay’s” are hysterical. The decision isn’t going to be an easy one.
Like I said before, the “rules” are simple. You just have to: 1) Get a 125×125 ad 2) write a little summary of why it should be chosen 3) email it along with the name of your site and your prefered link to stuff @ moniquerenae DOT com. It’s that easy. You don’t have to back link or join my feed or walk my dogs. Although any of the three would be nice and very much appreciated. You can get two additional entries by writing a short blurb about the contest, but again, it’s not required. Let’s see what else I’m missing…
The winners (six of them) will be chosen at random on March 21, 2008 during my Link Love Lriday post. That gives everyone ample time to be creative! Four of the ads will remain on the site for 30 days, the remaining two will become semi permanent fixtures on my site until I decide to change it. So get to sending! I’m looking forward to it.
In other news, it snowed here last night. Snow in Dallas in March. Absolute craziness. It accumulated, looked gorgeous and then melted this morning. I will upload some pictures later on.
Also, we got a brand new truck. Me, in a truck. It’s ridiculous. But there was a good reason behind it so I am adjusting to it. I’m actually enjoying it - Don’t tell anyone. I’ll upload pictures of that too.
Let’s see… a tree feel on the house in the storm. We’re fine. It sucks.
The septic tank is all jacked up so when you do laundry you get a shit pool in the backyard. Lovely eh?
There is a water pipe leaking all over the place so that’s causing massive flooding outside… thankfully it’s not inside.
They came out and installed my new business line, and it’s full of static so we need someone to come out and install a new jack.
And even with all of this crap going on, Life. Is. Good.

yeah, life is good no matter what. It is always better than being six feet below the ground, right?
I hope your contest turns out really great. I wish I can join. I don’t think I should at the moment because my designer is still working on my blog banner, which I want to be similar and tied to my 125 x 125 image. At the moment, I am using a borrowed image which is not at all consistent with my blog theme and all that.
