You know, my son & I were watching "Parking Wars" yesterday, about the people who get their cars booted or towed. One of the towees was yelling at the employee because she couldn't get her car back.

Evan said "I bet you'd get fired if you worked there. For yelling back at somebody when they yelled at you."

I said "I remember once when I worked at BCBST and some woman called complaining about the fact that we had denied one of her claims. I tried to explain to her that she had reached the wrong department, so I was going to transfer her. She went OFF! Screaming at me. The more I listened, the more funny she was to me so I started laughing, which pissed her off more. The angrier she got, the funnier it was to me. It would really depend on the day & my hormone level if I'd get fired for yelling at a customer or laughing at a customer."

I'm sorry you had one of "those days". But maybe one day, you might find some humor in the customers who might ordinarily tick you off?

If you run for president, I'll vote for you on this idea alone:

There should be some kind of employment code or rule that says if the employee doesn’t get a good nights sleep, they don’t have to come into work until they feel they are able to handle their work duties.
